The Pere Marquette offers unrivaled fishing in the pursuit of steelhead and salmon. Guide boats from Orvis and other outfitters are a common site through the waters of the club property as it’s been ranked in the Top 10 Steelhead fisheries in the world.

The fly only, catch and release fishing river fishing is an experience that few have been privileged enough to enjoy.

Members of all ages and skill levels have Danaher Lake to enjoy. This 13-acre lake on the Danaher Creek is stocked with rainbow and brown trout as well as a native brook trout population. Spin cast gear is permitted, and row boats are available to reach secluded areas of the lake.

Nesting eagles and assorted wildlife make Danaher an adventure for the entire family. The sandy beach and diving platform are provide plenty of daytime fun and the bonfire pit provides summer evening fun for the entire family.

Shooting Opportunities

The Pere Marquette Club boasts two shooting ranges, with skeet shooting, trap shooting, and accommodations for the games of Par Quail (Grouse Walk) and Crazy Quail.

Records date back to 1938 logging the top shooters of the club.

Hunting Opportunities

Our members enjoy hunting privileges during Michigan turkey, grouse and deer seasons.

Permanent blinds are set throughout the property, as well as twenty five acres of oats and turnips planted to attract animals and keep them on the property for viewing and harvesting.
